BOOKMARKING YOUR
SITES
When you find sites that you like or may want to refer to in
the future, bookmarking them keeps them at hand. Again the process can be slightly different
with different Browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox). If you need assistance, type into your web browser window…”How to
BookMark using…(Google Chrome, IE etc)”
Firefox
Once you have the site on your screen, you can go to the top
where you see a menu and click on BOOKMARKS, Bookmark this page.
This will give a “general bookmark”. I have found that I like to sort my bookmarks
so I have made files/categories that suit my needs (i.e. shopping, utilities,
insurance etc.). To set up the initial folders, go to
BOOKMARKS
BOOKMARK THIS
PAGE
Click the down arrow beside BOOKMARK MENU,
Click NEW FOLDER
Create folders as you
need them! When you go to drop a page in
a specific folder, you will need to follow the same procedure EXCEPT scroll
down BOOKMARK MENU area
until you find the folder that you are looking for.
OPENING ENTIRE
BOOKMARKED FOLDER
This is GREAT when you have a list of sites that you like to
“hit” for daily deals. Go to your Bookmarks,
find the folder you want and you will receive a dropdown box with all the files
in that folder listed, the bottom one says OPEN ALL IN TAB (see screen shot
below)
